Association Of African American Financial Advisors (AAAA)

Navigating the Future of Black Wealth

Who Is AAAA?

The ASSOCIATION OF AFRICAN AMERICAN FINANCIAL ADVISORS (AAAA) was created to address the professional development needs and advocacy concerns of licensed Black/African American financial professionals in Wealth Management.

We are a not-for-profit (501(c)(6)) membership organization for Black/African American financial advisors, financial planners, home office professionals, and affiliated professionals.

At AAAA, we work in alliance with academic leaders at HBCUs and PWIs that support financial planning degree programs, financial services firms that employ licensed Black/African American financial professionals, legislative and regulatory bodies, and consumer interest organizations to advocate for shared interests.

Our goal is to connect individuals in need with financial advisors and to provide current financial advisors with a network of professionals who share similar backgrounds and values.

Meet our Founder

LeCount R. Davis, CFP

Over his 40-year career, LeCount R. Davis has always approached financial planning as more of a calling than an academic pursuit, a job, or even a profession. He is the first African American to hold the Certified Financial Planner designation.

Whether he is influencing students as a professor at Howard University, helping hundreds of people with financial decisions, or mentoring younger generations of Black/African American financial planners, Davis’ primary goal is to guide the future of wealth management.

"My mission in life has been to help my people handle money well so as to be able to create and transfer wealth,"
